Local engineers made repairs and experts cleared the flight to take off at 7 a.m. today.
Passengers stayed overnight at the Hamilton Princess and the Marriott Castle Harbour hotels.
Air Canada officials said last night that latest flight information registers showed today's incoming flight from Toronto was still scheduled to arrive on time at 12.30 p.m.
