US Airways beefs up air miles programme

Most frequent travellers in Bermuda belong to air miles clubs, but are often frustrated in the quest for free tickets by having to wait months for a statement showing their latest mileage entitlements.

US Airways has come up with a solution to that problem for the members of its Dividend Miles Club. Members can now sign-up online at www.usairways.com to receive their monthly dividend miles statements via e-mail and to receive exclusive information about select special offers from US Airways and its dividend miles partners.

As an added benefit, members who sign up by June 30, 2000 to receive their statements by e-mail will receive a special one-time 500-mile bonus.

"We are offering our customers a convenient new option for reviewing their dividend miles statements and for receiving the most recent promotional offers while at home or on the road,'' said Stephen M. Usery, US Airways' vice president of marketing. "This significant enhancement will make it easier for our customers to take advantage of their dividend miles benefits.'' US Airways dividend miles programme partners include Conrad International; Courtyard by Marriott; Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts; Doubletree; Embassy Suites; Fairfield Inn by Marriott; Four Points Hotels; Hampton Inn & Suites; Hilton; Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts; Holiday Inn Express; Homewood Suites by Hilton; Hyatt Hotels and Resorts; Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts; Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites; Marriott Conference Centers; Marriott Vacation Club International; Radisson Hotels & Resorts; Renaissance Hotels and Resorts; Residence Inn by Marriott; Sheraton Hotels & Resorts; SpringHill Suites by Marriott; St. Regis; Staybridge Suites; Summerfield Suites by Wyndham; TownePlace Suites; The Luxury Collection; W Hotels; Westin Hotels & Resorts; Wyndham Hotels & Resorts; Alitalia; American Airlines; Austrian Airlines; Northwest Airlines; Qantas Airways; Sabena; Swissair; LatinPass; Alamo; Hertz; National; MCI WorldCom; Bank of America; The Flower Club; Renaissance Cruises; and Dividend Miles Dining.
