Dr. Wingate helped to successfully rescue the bird from near extinction and will talk on efforts to reintroduce the Cahow as well as the bird's present status.

The talk takes place in the Bio Station's Hanson Hall. It is free of charge to BBSR donors, but there will be a $5 fee on the door for members of the public.
