Ace marks 25th anniversary with Global Day of Giving
The Ace Group will mark its 25th anniversary with a Global Day of Service on Friday next week.
The company's Bermuda employees will be among those all over the world giving their time to community service projects.
They will take part in demolition and archaeological excavation work as well as cleaning and painting a 30-ton cannon at the National Museum of Bermuda's Casemate Barracks Project.
Others will serve as guides and interviewers for students at a career fair at Bermuda College.
More than 7,500 employees in 46 countries - around half of Ace's global workforce - are expected to participate in more than 200 volunteer projects.
"To commemorate our anniversary, we are extending our appreciation to the communities that have supported us through these past 25 years," said Evan Greenberg, Ace's chairman and chief executive officer.
"I want to particularly thank our employees, who believe that insuring progress begins in our own neighbourhoods."
