Bank stock trading dominates the BSX
the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Most of the shares traded were Bank of Bermuda and Bank of Butterfield, which yoyoed in price during the week.
Bank of Bermuda traded 77,221 shares, but closed down 50 cents at $44.50. Bank of Butterfield traded 36,050, and gained $1.25 at the end of the day, closing at $26.
Bermuda Commercial Bank also benefited from continued 60/40 speculation, gaining 45 cents to close at $7.45.
BF&M common stock gained 50 cents to $7.25, and BF&M preferred shares lost $1.50 to close at $10.50.
Bermuda Aviation Services went up 25 cents to $6.75, Belco Holdings Ltd.
gained 40 cents, closing at $23 and KeyTech lost 75 cents to close at $35.25.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 16.123, up 0.72 percent at 2,254.55 on a volume of 124,962 shares worth a total of $4.551,407.25.
