AM Best Co. has affirmed the financial strength rating of A (excellent) and of Bermuda-based Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd. and its affiliates and hasd declared a stable outlook.

Best said the ratings reflect "Endurance's solid level of risk-adjusted capitalisation, favourable historical operating performance and its reasonably diversified business profile".

Endurance has proven its ability to manage capital through market cycles and boasts a solid enterprise risk management framework, Best added.
