BF&M slips 1.2%

BF&M Ltd.'s shares fell 1.2 percent on The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The insurer and pension provider was the only domestic listed company to change value, falling 20 cents to close on $16.90, on the trading of 3,800 shares.The only other issue to trade was Butterfield Bank, which remained on its 52-week low of $7.90, as 7,627 of its shares changed hands.

The insurer and pension provider was the only domestic listed company to change value, falling 20 cents to close on $16.90, on the trading of 3,800 shares.

The only other issue to trade was Butterfield Bank, which remained on its 52-week low of $7.90, as 7,627 of its shares changed hands.

The BSX Index fell 2.9 points, or 0.1 percent, to close on 2,914.8. BSX volume was 11,427 shares and turnover was $120,496. As the markets bounced back on Wall Street, so did the BSX Insurance Index of the Island's leading international insurers, which rose 4.04 percent to 734.82.
