British Airways announces summer seat sale

The company also announced yesterday that the Bermuda-London flights will continue to run normally, despite five-day strike by cabin crew that started yesterday, affecting only Heathrow flights.
BA's Bermuda manager, Marianne Wilcox, said the seat sale marked the airline's 73rd year of air service to Bermuda, the anniversary of which is on June 16.
"Today we are announcing a sale for round-trip travel to London from June 1 continuing through the peak season until September 30," Ms Wilcox said.
"Seven day advance, non-refundable mid-week World Traveller (economy) fares begin at $673 Bermuda excluding taxes. The popular World Traveller Plus will be offered for sale at $1,073 with taxes extra."
The sale applies only to travel originating in Bermuda and is only available for new bookings.
Fares are available for sale through June 8. There is a minimum stay of a Saturday night and a maximum stay of 11 months.
Changes may be made for a fee and there is a surcharge for weekend travel.
