Business Bermuda names its two students of the year
Business Bermuda has announced that Danielle Richards of Cedarbridge Academy and Jennifer Ross of Berkeley Institute have been chosen as the winners of its Most Outstanding Business Student Award.
"International business is one of Bermuda's most essential platforms and a key element of our success," said Cheryl Packwood, CEO of Business Bermuda. "For more than four centuries and over the past 60 years, Bermuda has played a vital role in the growth and development of the global economy, providing capital and developing some of the most innovative ideas and solutions to business problems.
"Danielle and Jennifer exemplify the hard work, commitment to excellence and are the best of one of Bermuda's most valuable and important assets, her people. We are proud to recognise their efforts and appreciate their accomplishments."
Each of the recipients of the award will receive a cheque for $1,500 that can be used to further their education. Rebecca Davies made the presentation at Cedarbridge's graduation and Tareek Somner presented the award to Berkeley Institute's graduate; both are members of Business Bermuda's local awareness committee.
