Businesses to get lesson in customer service from expert
A top customer service expert will be in Bermuda next month to advise businesses on how to keep their customers coming back.
Consultant and author Jan Fraser will host a two-part "Keeping Customers for Life" seminar, which she says will teach businesses how to create the "stickiness factor" that keeps customers coming back, how to handle the most disagreeable customers, and "blow the competition away with amazing, quality service".
The two half-day seminars are being held from 9am to 1pm on October 7 and October 9.
A second seminar will be held on October 28 and October 30, for which some places still remain open.
They are open to all local businesses and are being held at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce Boardroom in Hamilton.
The seminar is $397 for both sessions and includes a signed copy of Ms. Fraser's book "Keeping Customers for Life". If a business enrolls three people, they can send a fourth free.
Seminar hosts Bermuda Media said in a statement that the first morning session focuses on individual customer service skills.
The second morning is devoted to building those same skills within an entire team to create a marketing magnet for your company.
Registrations can be made by e-mailing Michele Lawrence at mlawrence@bm.bm or call 292-7279 extension 26 for more information.
Ms Fraser worked in the airline industry where she trained more than 20,000 flight attendants and later became a member of the American Airlines Performance Solution Team, speaking on leadership and exceptional customer service throughout the world.
Since leaving the airline industry, Ms Fraser has conducted training for a wide variety of Fortune 500 companies.
She has trained with and assists 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' author Jack Canfield with his popular self-esteem and success seminars.
