Catlin opens new offices in Canada
Catlin Canada, the Canadian-based operations of Catlin Group Ltd., is set to open offices in Vancouver and Montreal next month.
The new offices will target business which complements the key classes of insurance already written by Catlin Canada's existing offices in Toronto and Calgary. They will also allow Catlin Canada to expand its distribution more fully throughout Canada.
Pat Bruzzese will lead the Montreal office as branch manager. He previously headed the Montreal office of GCAN Insurance.
Other staff in the Montreal office include Flavia Di Girolamo, property manager — Quebec; Robert Foster, senior underwriter — property and casualty; and Lucy Martinello, office manager.
Ian Rutherford will be branch manager of the Vancouver office. He previously headed with Vancouver office of GCAN Insurance. He will be joined by senior underwriters Rory O'Donoghue and Lawrence Quan.

Established in 2005, Catlin Canada provides specialty classes of property/casualty insurance and risk management services.
