Crozier named ITV CEO

LONDON (AP) — UK commercial broadcaster ITV PLC said yesterday that it has hired the chief executive of Royal Mail Group as its new CEO.

Adam Crozier, 46, will take up his new role later this year, the company said.

ITV announced in November that former Asda chief executive Archie Norman would succeed Michael Grade as chairman, and one of Norman's first tasks was to find a new CEO.

John Creswell, appointed interim chief executive in October, intends to leave ITV when Crozier moves in.

Crozier was chief executive of the Football Association from 2000 to 2002, and took up the Royal Mail job in 2003.
