Dolloff takes up Butterfield post

Banking matters: Wilton Dolloff has been appointed executive vice-president and chief operating officer at Butterfield Bank

Butterfield Bank has appointed Wilton Dolloff as executive vice-president and chief operating officer with responsibility for the bank's operations and technology functions.

Mr. Dolloff joined Butterfield from Huntington Bancshares Incorporated of Columbus, Ohio, where he was most recently executive vice-president of operations and technology, overseeing corporate security, and accounts payable/payroll and facilities.

Other areas within Mr. Dolloff's remit include supply management, bank operations, information services architecture, computer operations, network services, and programming development.

Over his 35-year career with Huntington, he held various positions in finance and operations. Mr. Dolloff was responsible for a number of Huntington's major operations improvements and was the company's senior executive sponsor for an operational excellence programme, which applied lean manufacturing techniques to generate continuous process improvement within the bank.

He also holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Franklin University.
