'Executive coaching' session planned for next month

The ever-changing role of the executive in today's rapidly evolving global business climate will be the focus for an in-depth roundtable discussion held in Bermuda next month.

The event entitled 'Bermuda Executive Coaching Roundtable', which will be presented by the Columbia Coaching Alliance on Friday November 20 at 7 p.m., with the venue yet to be confirmed, will be an opportunity for networking and learning with key thought leaders and senior business executives.

The format, according to human factor international managing director, Jeffrey Jones, is designed to provide "an open and stimulating environment where new ideas and insights into coaching, personal branding and image consulting can be explored".

Attendees will have access to the global roundtable results from at least 15 countries and 20 cities that will offer a look at global leadership trends and opportunities. The roundtable is an invitation-only event focused on executives, entrepreneurs, and those with strong links to developing talent.

The Bermuda Roundtable hosts will include Fatima Doman, senior consultant and executive coach with Franklin Covey; Margaret D'Onofrio, executive coach and founder of D'Onofrio Consulting Partners; Mr. Jones, executive and transcultural leadership coach and managing director of Human Factor International.

Members of the Columbia Coaching Alliance will be on the Island to take part in the eighth International Transformative Learning Conference, 'Reframing Social Sustainability in a Multicultural World', at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess hotel between November 18 and 20. The conference is sponsored by the Columbia University Teachers College, Department of Organisation and Leadership, Adult Learning and Leadership Programme.
