Froud to take over as Ace's Bermuda chief admin officer

Samantha Froud has been named chief administration officer for the Ace Group's Bermuda operations.

Effective January 1, she will assume the responsibilities of Lori Samson, who has announced her retirement from Ace after 20 years of service.

Ms Froud is current group financial controller. Her new responsibilities will include management of the human resources function in Bermuda, budgeting, facilities management, business continuity planning and administrative oversight for the Ace Group in Bermuda.

She will also have responsibilities for executive and board of director compensation matters.

In this role, Ms. Froud will report to Ace Ltd. chairman and chief executive officer Evan Greenberg. "I want to congratulate Samantha on her new assignment," Mr. Greenberg said.

"With a proven track record of professional accomplishments and substantial experience in our company's global accounting and finance functions, Samantha is well suited to assume these significant new responsibilities. I have every confidence in her future success."
