LONDON (AP) — ITV PLC, Britain's biggest commerical broadcaster, posted a £70 million loss in the first half of the yearafter a decline in advertising revenue continued to erode profits. The loss in the six months to the end of June did narrow from the same period last year, when the company lost £1.5 billion. Revenue fell about 12 percent to £909 million, from £1.03 billion.
The broadcast also announced the sale of the Friends United website.
