LOM (Holdings) Ltd. has appointed Danesh Varma as a director at the board of directors meeting.

Mr. Varma (FCA, ATII), a qualified accountant in the UK and Canada, has more than 30 years experience in the international finance and mining sectors. He is currently the chief financial officer of Minco plc.

He is a director of Anglesey Mining plc. and Minco plc., and a Corporate Finance Partner in Beer & Partners Ltd.

Mr. Varma was formerly chief financial of Canadian Zinc Corp., president and managing director of American Resource Corporation Ltd., Dundee Bancorp, Dundee Investment Management and Research Ltd. and Dundee Mutual Funds India, in addition to holding the post of director and vice-president of the Dundee Bank Cayman.
