M3 Wireless and Research In Motion (RIM) have joined forces to announce the launch of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone in Bermuda.
The new BlackBerry includes a range of high-end communications and multimedia features in a compact and refined design.
The gadget has support from 3G HSDPA networks around the world, a next-generation (624 MHz) processor, 256 MB Flash memory, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi, a 3.2MP camera and a high resolution display.
"The new BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone is an impressive handset that will certainly appeal to business users as well as consumers," said Lloyd Fray, CEO of M3 Wireless. "And M3 customers can take full advantage of our 3G network to get the most out of their new smartphone."
The device also includes a smoothly integrated touch-sensitive trackpad and a highly tactile, distinctive, fretted keyboard, in addition to the dark chrome frame, leatherette back and soft-touch sides.
"We are very pleased to work with M3 to bring the new BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone to customers in Bermuda," said Rick Costanzo, managing director, Latin America, Research In Motion.
The new BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone will be available from M3 Wireless this month. M3 will offer one of its free BlackBerry learning seminars at the end of February to teach its customers how to make the most of the phone's features.
