The jump brought the stock price to a 52-week high as the company reported Monday it had made a profit of $702,710 for the year ended January 31, a 48 percent gain over the previous year.
The BSX index fell 0.8 points to close at 1,592.52 on a volume of 13,817 and a turnover of $319,617.
The Bank of Bermuda fell 50 cents to $34.50. The bank's warrants fell 25 cents to $17.75. Bank of Butterfield stock fell 13 cents to $5.13.
