New BlackBerry on sale in Bermuda
Technology enthusiasts will now be able to get their hands on the new Red BlackBerry Curve.
Digicel announced the release of the newest BlackBerry, the RED Wi-Fi Curve 8320 yesterday and said the company had sole rights to sell it in Bermuda.
The device is a "smartphone", which can be used for e-mail and text messaging, instant messaging, web browser and advanced phone functionality.
A new function is that it will allow customers to use public hot spots, wireless local area networks and home Wi-Fi networks, while maintaining their existing Blackberry security architecture.
Digicel sales director Honey Adams said: "Digicel is committed to providing the best selection of devices to ensure that our customers' full range of needs are met, whether for the ability to connect to Wi-Fi services or the need to access e-mail on the move.
"The addition of the BlackBerry Curve 8320 combines the features you'd expect from a BlackBerry smartphone along with a suite of multimedia features that should prove popular with Digicel customers."
