Oil tankers make Island stopover
sailing to home ports.
Accord Express and Seajoy docked in St. George's during their brief stays. The Accord Express arrived on Monday and left yesterday after discharging its valuable cargo while Seajoy had an even briefer stay, arriving and departing yesterday.
Otherwise it was a routine week at the docks, with regular visitors arriving on schedule and without any problems.
Oleander docked in Hamilton last Sunday and departed this morning.
The vessel brought 152 dry and 46 refrigerated containers to the Island. She also delivered five trailers and 35 cars.
Somers Isle also arrived in Hamilton last Sunday for a one-night stopover before heading home on Monday The ship delivered 94 dry containers and four refrigerated containers.
Container ship Bermuda Islander will bring in 66 dry containers, 24 refrigerated and two open-top containers today before leaving tomorrow.
Passenger ships Zenith and Crown Dynasty arrived on schedule in Hamilton and Dockyard respectively this week.
The Zenith carrying 1,641 passengers goes to St. George's and will depart for New York City tomorrow.
Majesty and Horizon are carrying 1,688 and 1,621 passengers respectively.
The Majesty arrived yesterday and will depart for Boston tomorrow.
The Horizon arrived on Monday and will depart today for New York City.
