What is your job? I started as a banking services administrator which deals with all forms of client transactions including outgoing wire transfers, drafts, standing orders, foreign exchange deals, payroll, etc. through the general ledger system and the SWIFT system. Currently I am cross training as a dealer - cash management within the dealing room of the bank. Dealers are basically responsible for the management of the banks assets, liabilities and foreign exchange positions on a daily basis.

What is your favourite part of the job? Investing/transferring large sums of money throughout the world then seeing sufficient returns on my investments.

What is your least favourite part of the job? The amount of working hours while cross training as a dealer- cash management when compared to a banking services.

What is your most interesting experience at work? The first time I transferred $30 million I was so nervous that I reviewed the instruction about 10 times before I sent it.

What would you be doing otherwise? If I did not work for Bermuda Commercial Bank I would either be a physical education teacher or playing professional cricket in England.
