The Bermuda Stock Exchange edged down in continued light trading yesterday -- despite a big jump in Bermuda Commercial Bank shares.

Commercial Bank shares gained $1.375 to close back at their high for the year of $12 on volume of 582 shares.
But the gain was offset by a 50 cent drop in Argus shares, which closed at $9.50 on volume of 120.
The banking sector remained active, with Bank of Butterfield shares holding at $32.75 on volume of 200 and Bank of Bermuda shares unchanged at $22.875 on volume of 1300. Also unchanged were: BF&M, $6.50, 100 shares; and Belco $21, 274.
