Tyco completes aquisition
accusations of irregular accounting, has announced it has completed its acquisition of AFC Cable Systems.
Tyco, which is a diversified manufacturing and service company, announced the merger yesterday.
AFC has annual revenues of approximately $275 million and is a leader in the design, manufacturer and supply of prewired armour cable, flexible conduit, modular wiring systems and electrical fittings used in a wide range of electrical, voice and data distribution products.
Shareholders of AFC Cable will receive one share of Tyco for each share of AFC Cable.
As a result, a total of approximately 12.8 million shares will be issued by Tyco. After the deal went through Tyco shares stood at $43.
