Banks busy again

The banking sector proved to the busiest yet again on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. slipped 10 cents (1.02 percent) to $9.65, with 1,000 shares traded, while Butterfield Bank saw 20,651 common shares worth $5.10 change hands, as its price dropped five cents (0.97 percent).KeyTech Ltd. also transacted 12,500 shares as its value fell 25 cents (2.7 percent) to $9.

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. slipped 10 cents (1.02 percent) to $9.65, with 1,000 shares traded, while Butterfield Bank saw 20,651 common shares worth $5.10 change hands, as its price dropped five cents (0.97 percent).
KeyTech Ltd. also transacted 12,500 shares as its value fell 25 cents (2.7 percent) to $9.
Overall, the Index dipped 16.27 points (0.7 percent) to 2,305.39, with 34,151 shares worth $227,442.65 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 10.14 points (1.12 percent) at 912.33.
