Belco shines bright
Belco Holdings Ltd. continued its rich vein of form, climbing 45 cents (2.14 percent) to $21.45 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
The utilities company traded 2,000 shares throughout the day.
Butterfield Bank also boosted its share value by five cents (0.29 percent) to close at $16.95, with 1,500 shares changing hands.
But Argus Group Holdings Ltd. dropped five cents (0.32 percent) to finish on $15.50, as 200 shares were transacted.
The only other trader was Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd., which saw 100 shares traded, but its share price held firm at $6.15.
Overall, the Index was up 15.16 points (0.3 percent) at 5,014.05, with 3,800 shares changing hands worth $72,040.
The BSX Insurance Index also inched up 1.38 percent to 1,098.75.
