BNTB kept busiest

Butterfield Bank proved to be the busiest company on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The bank traded 2,889 common shares, which rose five cents to close the day at $5.05, while it also saw 108 preference shares worth $250 each change hands.The Index, as a whole, finished up 8.74 points (0.38 percent) at 2,305.79, as 2,889 shares worth BD$14,411.65 and 108 shares worth US$135,000 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index increased by 6.59 points (0.71 percent) to 929.84.
