Butterfield Bank's common shares fell five cents (0.99 percent) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank closed the day on $5, as 11,151 shares changed hands.

Overall the Index dipped 8.74 points (0.38 percent) to 2,297.05, with 11,151 shares worth $56,056 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, finished up 6.59 points (0.71 percent) at 929.84.
