Butterfield Bank traded 5,000 common shares to open and close at $5.05 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The Index, as a whole, remained unchanged at 2,305.79, with 5,000 shares worth $25,250 changing hands through the day.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 6.59 points (0.71 percent) at 929.84.
