Insurers kept busy

Insurance proved to be the busiest sector on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday, with both Argus Group Holdings Ltd. and BF&M Ltd. seeing their share prices rise.
Argus climbed 20 cents (2.98 percent) to $6.90, with 1,000 shares traded, while BF&M Ltd. increased five cents (0.35 percent) to $14.05, as 1,500 shares changed hands.
Belco Holdings Ltd. was also up five cents (0.3 percent) to $16.50, with 300 shares transacted.
Butterfield Bank was the only other trader, with 2,250 shares changing hands.
Overall, the Index rose 9.21 points (0.44 percent) to 2,102.76, with 5,050 shares worth $41,925 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index was also up 21.1 points (2.7 percent) at 799.73.
