NEW YORK (Bloomberg) — PartnerRe Ltd., the Bermuda-based reinsurer, will repay half the $400 million loan from Citigroup Inc. before the payment is due.

The money will be repaid January 14, ahead of the April 27 maturity date, the reinsurer said yesterday in a regulatory filing.
