TechWeek to showcase top young talent
Budding young technology enthusiasts will be able to show off their skills when TechWeek 2009 launches this week.
TechWeek 2009, which will be held from today to May 1, will celebrate how technology has improved our lives and provide information and advice on how it can be used more effectively, according to the Computer Society of Bermuda.
The week will be full of activities for all ages, including Lunch n' Learns and Senior TechTeas, with a number of children's contests held throughout the week, featuring prizes such as gift certificates and other tech awards.
This will be followed by TechArt 09, with the Bermuda Society of Arts inviting entries for digitally created art, including digital photography. The grand prize is an Apple Macbook and iPods, which will be awarded for People's Choice and Category Winners. There will also be a special category for students under 18, with entries being received on April 27, 28 and 29.
