Utilities all the buzz

Utilities proved to be the busiest sector on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
KeyTech Ltd. boosted its share price by $1.45 (17.05 percent) to $9.95, with 2,000 shares traded, while Belco Holdings Ltd. rose $1.20 (7.86 percent) to $16.45, as 2,000 shares changed hands.
Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. also climbed 90 cents (18 percent) to $5.90, with 3,000 shares transacted.
The only other trader was Butterfield Bank, which saw 21,423 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $4.
Overall, the Index was up 67.8 points (3.35 percent) at 2,092.24, as 28,423 shares worth $156,192 were traded.
The BSX Insurance Index was also up 12.15 points (1.58 percent) at 778.63.
