Utilities big on BSX

Utilities proved to be the busiest sector on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.KeyTech Ltd. rose by 75 cents (8.82 percent) to $9.25, with 2,150 shares traded, while the Ascendant Group Ltd. fell 50 cents (3.03 percent) to $16, as 2,400 shares changed hands.Butterfield Bank also transacted 8,153 common shares as its share price increased by five cents (0.99 percent) to $5.10.

KeyTech Ltd. rose by 75 cents (8.82 percent) to $9.25, with 2,150 shares traded, while the Ascendant Group Ltd. fell 50 cents (3.03 percent) to $16, as 2,400 shares changed hands.
Butterfield Bank also transacted 8,153 common shares as its share price increased by five cents (0.99 percent) to $5.10.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd., meanwhile traded 9,700 shares, but its share value held firm at $8.
Overall, the Index was up 19.11 points (0.84 percent) at 2,307.10, with 22,403 shares worth BD$177,177.65 transacted, and 2,240 shares worth US$24,640 changing hands.
The BSX Insurance Index dropped 11.16 points (1.22 percent) to 897.26.
