CellOne customers who use BlackBerrys will be given a credit in connection with the outage of the smart phone system on October 12.Details of the credit will be explained on customers’ November invoice.“CellOne would like to thank their customers for their patience and loyalty in this matter,” the company said in a statement on Friday.CellOne’s move came the day after wireless services rival Digicel promised its BlackBerry customers a credit for the same reason.Additionally, BlackBerry manufacturer Research in Motion has promised users $100 worth of free apps to compensate for the outage, which affected users from Asia to North America.
