emedia Bermuda has announced the appointment of Lindsay Amerault as its new art director.Ms Amerault, who assumed her new role earlier this month, has extensive experience in graphic design and animation having worked at a number of organisations throughout the US, including as an animator and designer for ESPN and an art director for the New York Knicks, among others.“I moved to Bermuda for a change from New York, and so far I’m really glad I did,” she said, “emedia is an excellent fit for me, we have a great team, and I’ve been very impressed with the level of work that can be produced here.”As art director, she will be overseeing all aspects of emedia’s graphic and creative services, including creative concepting, graphic design work, video production and project management.emedia’s owner and managing director, Jennifer Ward views her arrival as a valued enhancement to her company’s creative services.“Lindsay brings a lot of experience and skills with her which I think will complement our team in a very positive way,” she said. “We’ve always been proud of our creative services, and having Lindsay with us will help us push them even further.”In a post-financial crisis environment, many of Bermuda’s businesses have had to employ resourceful measures in order to stay competitive.“It’s tough out there for everyone, let alone marketing agencies,” said Ms Ward. “We’ve decided to cope with the downturn as proactively as we can, first and foremost by taking steps to strengthen our services further and make ourselves more valuable to our clients.“Taking on a talented new art director like Lindsay is definitely a big part of that.
