Rosewood Tucker’s Point hires former Elbow Beach chef
Rosewood Tucker’s Point has appointed a new executive chef to oversea the resort’s restaurants.A native of Milan, Italy, Chef Guido Brambilla joins the team with more than 20 years’ experience in fine dining. He moves over from the executive chef position at Elbow Beach Hotel and replaces Serge Botelli who left the position earlier this summer.After attending Le Cordon Bleu in London and completing various apprenticeships at Michelin starred restaurants in Northern Italy, Chef Guido spent two years in Southeast Asia learning the secrets of Thai and Vietnamese cooking.Chef Guido also ran his own restaurant for several years in Milan and then moved to the Maldives and Oman where he worked for five-star resorts and learned the art of Indian, Arabic and Japanese cuisines.He will soon be introducing a new dinner menu at the Beach Club.
