Bacci earns ‘excellence’ label from TripAdvisor
TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel website, is has recognised the Italian restaurant Bacci with its Certificate of Excellence.Bacci is located on the Fairmont Southampton’s resort.This award honours businesses that consistently earn top ratings from travellers and is only given to the most exceptional performers in TripAdvisor’s global business community.To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, the business must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor.Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months. This year, The Waterlot Inn also was recognised by TripAdvisor with a Certificate of Excellence.Shelley Meszoly, regional director of sales and marketing for The Fairmont Southampton said: “We are honoured that our efforts have earned the recognition of both our guests and TripAdvisor. We congratulate our colleagues for their excellent work and extend our gratitude to TripAdvisor for recognising our efforts.”Established in 2004 and located next to the resort’s Par 3 course, Bacci offers traditional Italian dishes featuring handmade artisanal pastas to classic comfort food such as chicken Parmesan and fettuccini alfredo. The restaurant’s name, “Bacci,” is Italian for “little kisses.” Bacci is open daily from 6pm to 10pm.TripAdvisor and their branded sites make up the largest travel community in the world, with more than 50 million unique monthly visitors, and over 60 million reviews and opinions.
