Pain at the pump as local gas prices hit high
Gasoline prices have hit an all-time high this year topping out at $2.24 per litre, a rise of 6.1 cents per litre, in September according to the monthly announcement from the Ministry of Finance yesterdayMeanwhile the price of diesel has risen 4.7 cents to $1.96 per litre, the second highest level this year.The price of kerosene has also gone up, by 4 cents to $1.69 per litre.Last month gas prices climbed to a maximum $2.18 per litre, a rise of 7.6 cents per litre.By comparison, in August of 2010, the maximum price of gasoline was $1.81.
