A total of 3,478 shares, valued at nearly $10,450, changed hands on The Royal Gazette/BSX exchange yesterday. Bank of Butterfield saw 3,148 shares move, leaving its price per share unchanged at $1.99.

And 300 shares in financial services holding company Somers Ltd were sold, leaving its share price up $0.50 (3.8 per cent) at $13.75.

The BSX Insurance Index closed the day at 1,525.16 up 0.04 points.
