Top China fund manager to speak at LOM event
Hong Kong fund manger Aaron Boesky is to give a global economic and market update when he appears as a guest speaker at a lunch event organised by LOM Asset Management this month.
Mr Boesky is the chief executive officer of China’s number one ranked fund manager Marco Polo. He is also a cousin of infamous former New York financier Ivan Boesky, credited with coining the phrase ‘greed is healthy’, a slightly altered version of which was spoken by the Gordon Gekko character in the 1987 film Wall Street.
Mr Boesky is taking part in LOM’s “Lunch and Learn” at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club at 12.30pm on April 22.
The event has been generating interest, said Brian Dooley, of LOM.
“Mr Boesky runs one of the highest rated hedge funds,” he said.
“We established a working relationship and have a joint venture with him.”
The lunchtime event will include LOM’s market outlook and fund performances.
