Harbour hires Knox Clingerman

Laura Knox Clingerman, a qualified chartered accountant, takes up the post with immediate effect.
Brian McDevitt, chief operating officer at Harbour Financial, said: “We are delighted to have Laura’s perspective on funds and directorships work.
“She will be a valuable addition to our team as we offer a new level of oversight to the boards on which we serve.”
Mr McDevitt said Ms Knox has more than a decade of experience in the investment funds industry and has a strong knowledge of investment fund structures — in particular, fund set-up and documentary review requirements for Bermuda and Cayman Islands funds.
Ms Knox joins Harbour Financial from DMS Offshore Investment Services in the Cayman Islands where she was associate director.
Ms Knox qualified as a chartered accountant with Grant Thornton in Canada, has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Prince Edward Island, Canada, and is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants Bermuda, Chartered Professional Accountants Canada, the Cayman Islands Directors Association, and 100 Women in Hedge Funds.
