Realtor’s luxury website perfectly timed
International real estate agent Coldwell Banker has launched a new brand and website for the luxury market — and Bermuda could cash in on America’s Cup exposure overseas.
And Brian Madeiros, chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty, said the launch came at a perfect time for the island.
He added: “What it gives us is an ability to expose our inventory to even more high-net-worth buyers.
“It’s absolutely fortuitous that they are releasing this as we’re hosting the America’s Cup event because, as we all know, millions of individuals are looking at Bermuda right now.”
And he said: “I expect we will see more enquiries for our local inventory as a result.”
The Coldwell Banker Luxury Programme has a new logo, signage and website and spans a network of agents nearly 50 countries and territories.
The site will connect 750,000 luxury real estate agents over multiple international brands and syndicate listings around the globe to real estate portals worldwide.
The former Coldwell Banker Preview International brand will be axed as result of the new site.
Mr Madeiros said the new site already featured some residences at the new Caroline Bay development, which is being exclusively handled by Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty.
He added: “It’s global exposure and good timing for Bermuda.
“It gives us as a country and as a company even more exposure around the world.”
Coldwell Banker will also makes its new quarterly Homes and Estates magazine, which features top listings worldwide, available on newsstands and at bookstore Barnes & Noble.
Charlie Young, president and CEO of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, said: “Each enhancement made to our luxury programme has demonstrated our commitment to a seamless experience for our international clients.”
Coldwell Banker said the firm handled around $130 million in luxury home sales around the world every day — more than any other real estate firm.
