Edie Jaworski has joined the Bermuda office of professional services firm EY.

She previously worked at EY’s New York office for 18 years.

David Brown, EY Bermuda senior partner and regional insurance leader, said: “We are very pleased to have Edie join our insurance practice.

“She has a strong track record of providing high-quality service to a number of EY’s largest global clients and we are looking forward to her driving value for our clients in Bermuda.”

Ms Jaworski has amassed experience in audit and advisory services for property and casualty and life and health insurers.

She also has experience in US generally accepted accounting practices, and in Securities and Exchange Commission and statutory reporting.

Ms Jaworski’s responsibilities include supervising audit teams, overseeing reporting processes, coordinating with controllers and chief accounting officers and working closely with other audit specialists.

She has a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Rider University, New Jersey, and is a certified public accountant in New York and New Jersey.
