Ptix launches AI chat bot service
Ticket company Premier TickeTicket company Premier Tickets Limited has launched an artificial intelligence chat bot to interact with customers.
Ptix teamed up with New York-based Pypestream to create the new service.
A demonstration of the technology was held this afternoon the Washington Mall, which included a competition to name the AI chat bot.
Pypestream’s advanced messaging platform and Microsoft Azure’s cloud technology allow the messaging and AI-powered conversational flows.
Ptix in a statement said that by leveraging Microsoft Azure, Pypestream is helping it streamline ticketing, marketing and payments, and improve the way they interact with event customers.
Ptix.bm customers can chat with the bot or live agents by clicking the purple speech bubble button on the site or through the Pypestream app.
The company stated: “The combination of Pypestream, Microsoft and Premier Tickets will help people purchase tickets and access information about any of our listed events, anytime, anywhere.
“All transactions and content are shared directly within the secure messaging channel, making it easy and safe for eventgoers to share information and process payments. By making tickets and event information easily accessible through messaging, Ptix and Pypestream are bringing the on-demand economy to events and entertainment.”
Michael Branco, founder of Premier Tickets, said: “The combination of Pypestream with Microsoft Azure will allow us to deliver the ultimate ticketing and reservation experience to our customers.
“Now, they will be able to instantly book and pay for tickets through messaging by engaging in a process that’s intuitive, fast, and secure.”
