Elevate brings in leadership coaches
Elevate has brought in three senior business leadership coaches for a three-day symposium next week.
The executive recruitment agency has teamed up with Below the Line to host the sessions from November 19 to 21, featuring coaches Dave Gribben, Gerry Hussey and Miriam Kerins.
Sylvia Jones, director, Bermuda operations at Elevate, said: “In working with our clients, we have identified the need for top-tier leadership development support.
“Senior business leaders serve as pivotal catalysts for driving success within their respective organisations and as with all effective leaders they are constantly looking for new opportunities for growth, whether personal or corporate.”
Mr Gribben brings more than 25 years’ experience of building, managing and leading businesses in a range of sectors and settings and is a consultant to start-ups, SMEs and international corporate clients.
Mr Hussey works with corporate organisations and business teams in leadership, high-performance team development, and human performance and wellness. He has also coached elite athletes.
Ms Kerins is a qualified pharmacist with a passion for holistic health and wellbeing. She is an international healthcare speaker, involved in the design and delivery of many executive, corporate and personal wellness retreats, seminars and programmes.
On Monday, November 19, at Bermuda Medical Specialties Group’s Reid Street location, Mr Hussey and Ms Kerins will present on the subject of preparing your body for business performance, looking at the impact of health and wellness on business performance, energy, mental cognition, decision making, balanced processing.
On the following two days, from 12.30pm to 2pm at Ideation House, on Pitts Bay Road, there will be “press pause” sessions where participants are invited to stop, breathe, think and connect.
A special invitation-only dinner will be held at The Loren on November 20, featuring special guest speaker Mr Hussey providing a keynote address on 900 months — the performance of a lifetime.
“If we live to be 80 years of age we spend roughly 300 months sleeping and 300 working and 300 doing everything else,” Mr Hussey said. “If we are 40 years of age then half this time is gone and outside of working and sleeping we have 150 months left.”
Part proceeds will go to the Bermuda Mental Health Foundation.
