Gilbert returns to Botelho Wood
After 11 years overseas, Tika Gilbert has returned to architectural firm Botelho Wood.
Ms Gilbert was in the United Kingdom completing a bachelors, masters and postgraduate diploma in architecture to qualify as a chartered architect. She previously worked for Botelho Wood Architects from 2005 to 2008 as a draftsman.
A spokesman for the company said commitment, dedication, self-discipline and enthusiasm were all traits she exhibited during her previous time with BWA.
“She has extensive experience from her time in the UK which focused on medium to large residential and historical developments on complex sites within the urban regeneration context,” the spokesman said. “Tika is also an internationally recognised artist, having exhibited in London, published in the United States, and invited to numerous exhibits in Europe.”
