Chamber of Commerce tackles workplace bias
The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce will be holding a full-day workshop, on unconscious bias next month, open to members and non-members.
Presented by Martha Kirkland, international partner for Franklin Covey in Bermuda, this workshop tackles how to counteract the potentially harmful impacts of unconscious bias and how to create a workplace in which everyone feels valued and empowered to offer their best. Attendees will learn to recognise the impact of bias on behaviour, decisions and performance, increase empathy and explore bias.
The workshop is geared for any manager who wants to address unconscious bias’ impact on decision-making, and build a more inclusive culture.
The workshop will be held at the chamber offices on February 18 from 9am to 5pm.
Registration is $450 for chamber members and $475 for non-members and can be purchased in advance from the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.
