Ten professionals at the Bermuda Hospitals Board have achieved their Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 Diploma in Leadership.

This is the first group in Bermuda to acquire that level of diploma accredited by ILM, Europe’s leading professional institute.

The cohort, along with four other BHB employees, completed the Level 5 Certificate in Leadership last year, which was sponsored by the BHB and Bermuda Hospitals Charitable Trust.

Eric Jenkinson, principal, Management Solutions Bermuda, said: “As the requirements for the diploma were within reach, this cohort decided to self-sponsor and take on the challenge to complete their leadership development at the next level. This shows that Bermuda has the talent and leadership skills to compete at an international level when it comes to being benchmarked against external standards.”
