HSBC Bank Bermuda will be closed for business on Monday, because of the threat of Hurricane Teddy, the bank said tonight.
In a statement, a spokeswoman for the bank added: “This is subject to change depending on how the situation evolves over the next few days. The bank will resume normal business operations only when it is deemed safe by the Bermuda Government to do so.
“All employees are being advised not to travel in to the office during this period and to remain safe.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our customers and thank them for their continued business.”
